There is a first time for e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g…

So here it goes…  This is my first blog EVER.  And you can already see, I’m a big fan of the …  I can’t help it really…  It just seems to help me express how I am thinking about things.  This phenomena is similar to the air quotes thing – completely over used and most of the time not necessary but completely addicting.

So this being my “first time” and everything, I have the feeling that I must give you some kind of background on myself instead of just throwing a blog out there and expecting you to keep up.  But I guess to give you a full synopsis of my twenty-something years would be completely impossible.  I feel there is no point in starting a blog unless you plan to keep it up (my friend Hanna kicks people off her blog roll if they haven’t updated in awhile and that seems to motivate me just a tad) so I’m sure all the juicy, scandalous, dramatic, fantastic, and chaotic details of my past, present, and future will come out along the way.

So one last thing before I go for now.  Keeping in mind that I am virgin blogger, my site needs some work and figuring out how to do that seems to be work so it might be sometime before I have everything the way I want it.  You probably won’t know the difference anyway so I should probably just delete this whole paragraph but oh well…
